sibling fight (24 apr 09)

The 2 of them always fight at home over basically everything. So much so that I have classificed this post under the label "home activities" as they seem to be doing it everyday.

Whenever yy loses the fight, he will angrily said "u naughty" or "naught mei mei". Alternatively he will run into his room and cry on his bed. As for charlie, she will scream at the top of her voice "baby cannot share" meaning the other party is not sharing with her and her definition of sharing is she plays and u dont.

yy called me yest in office. In fact he called me everyday in office. Told me that his classmate came back from australia and gave each of them a pack of M&M chocolate. But he did not take as he remembers I told him before not to take things from his friends. Oh mine..... made me felt so glad :) that he still remembers what I said especially he has to resist the temptation that the rest of the class all have it.

This boy is actually very well behaved and will listen to us. Except that he enjoys playing and watching TV much more than doing his homeworks. I know that pretty norm among kids. We often demand alot from him as he is much older and wants him to set a good example for his sis. This often leads to scolding and punishment when he did not do his part well. On the other hand, we know well that we are very fortunate to have yy. I bet we will have been "ignored" by charlie when she is abt 4-5 years old giving her stubborn and strong character. haha.......

swimming ! (19 apr 09)

Went to san yi yi's condo for swimming. Managed to get kate to come along too.

The kids have so much fun playing on the slides. Charlie will keep going for the slide after each round. The same goes for kate but she took the "short cut" up. Instead of going by the walkway next to the slide, she walked on the wet tiles inbetween the 2 slides as shown on the pic below, of course with the help of san yi yi. Where is her mother? She is too scared. Worry that she will break her bones if she does that.

yy had fun too. Initially he refused to try the blue slide which is slighly longer but the gradient is the same. With much coaxing from janice, he tried and loved it. He played so much that he got bruises at his buttlock the next day. hahaha

Did not manage to take any pic of janice as she was the "devil". Played so wild. She and his condo mates will slide down with "style" eg laying on their back or chest, doing forward roll while sliding down. Really very daring of her.
