yy been asking for a pair of sunshades even since his daddy got one. He finally got his wishes. I wonder how long the noverlty will wear off.

writing skills (11 oct 10)

Did not really spend time with Charlie guiding her on her writing skills and this is the "outcome". This is infact not her first attempt. Have erase off and rewrite all those that are simply not recognisable.

Universal Studio ! (5 Sept 10)

My company organised a trip to Universal Studio for employees so we tapped along the kids. Charlie still under age of 4 so she can enter for free. First impression the park is very small and nothing much to play. However with kids, it is enough to keep us entertain for one whole day till 7pm. The park closes later on Fri and Sat night.

The park is divided into a few theme and there are a couple of attractions not open yet.

~~ Madagascar ~~

we only managed to take photo with 2 characters. Far Far Away ~ Shrek. Unlike Disneyland where they have some many characters to use for their theme park. Universal Studio chose Shrek and Madagascar which is not very appealing. Even their mechanises dont look attractive.

Poor charlie was sick and had to tag along. She felt worse after exposed to the sun and refused to take photo and any rides. Too bad, dont think we are going for it any in the new future although she din get to enjoy this time.

The castle is a fake one. We cant access to the higher floor.

The Lost World

Other than the dino and aircon, the food court has nothing much to offer :(

All in all, we only go for the dino ride (below) and accelerator ride(yy was being misleaded to try it). As for show, we went for the Shrek 4 D, donkey live show, water world, Light camera action and Pantage theatre show.

Ancient Egypt ~ the egyptian display looks magnificent and grand.

Sci Fi City. Other than the roller coastal which is still down. There are a major part of the theme not open yet. We did not go for all the thrill rides like canopy and high speed thrill ride. For those more adventure kids, it will be more worth it to visit the park. As for us, I prefer Disney concept which is more appealing for our family whom dont take rides.

New York ~ some part of it is still closed.
