Aunty beth back to philippines (12 to 27 dec 09)

Beth went home for 16 days to celebrate xmas so myself and levin will have to take turn to stay at home. mummy yiyi also help out on 1 day and the kids were sent to mil house for an afternoon when levin has to go back to office.

It was generally all right as we did the min for houseworks while we cook on most of the days when we are at home. During these 2 weeks, we spent so much time with the kids on their daily routine. Kind of weird but very nice feeling.

After few days, charlie started to have rashes on her neck so we have to tight up her hair. The stick she is holding is the clay art craft which we did on one of the days.

Levin will shape her hair high like a tower whenever he bathed her. Infact, she was much more well behaved when levin is bathing her. If I the one, she will run round and round or hold onto my wrist making it difficult for me to rinse her hair.

On the last day, we had teppanyaki at home. The kids had fun cooking vegtables, fish meat tofu and meat.

Exchange xmas gift (25 dec 09)

The best day of the year is here again. This year we all go to po po's house for xmas exchange and makan. last year, I offered my house but not this round cos beth is on home leave. Too tiring.

da yi yi and the 2 girls. Charlie smiling so sweetly with her new toy from si yiyi. It's a dino king character and I'm the one who suggested that to si yiyi. The other gifts are a iPiano, strawberry shortcake bag and books from da, e and mummy yi yi respectively. the tigger bag is from mummy of course.

Charlie and her presents collected from her yiyi. There is a necklace somewhere in the pic but could not see it and it is from his daddy. Charlie has very weird temper as to the things she dislikes. If she do not like certain thing like shoe or dress or toy, she will insist on not wearing or use it.

I also bought him the Blokus set as it is an educational game. The daddy bought the tigger for the "kids". However charlie just simply refused to accept it and in the end, yy is the one hugging it for next couple of days.
This is the Ben 10 comic book that yy got for his present. He will always browse them whenever we go to popular. The kids posting for a pic while julia just sits at one end. Maybe she prefers not to mix with these crazy group of fellows. Afterall she already in her teen Surprise, e yiyi's toy is the most popular among all the kids.

Can u buy me a present for xmas ? (16 dec 09)

one more week to xmas.
This year, under the influence of Janice (hopefully on one will come scold me for saying this), yy learns to ask his yi yi for the present he wants. In previous years, he will just said I don’t know when they asked him.
This is also the first time yy keeps pestering his daddy for a xmas present. Btw Levin “never” or maybe “seldom” buy xmas present for the kids. He only buys birthday present. Don’t ask me why. he did it so often that even Levin commented it to me.
At a later date, I suggested to levin to get him a dino king toy which he is interested. However the toy is either out of stock or dirty. Da yi yi and myself went to 4 different shopping centres but still failed to get it for him. so in the end, yy did not get a xmas present from his dad.

CMA abacus class(12 dec 09)

Today is YY first lesson at CMA. been wanting him to join the class for quite some time already. But yy was not very keen to join any enrichment class as he prefers to stay at home with his sis. He will asked me what did Charlie do when he is not at home. Anyway I managed to convince him to join the class by telling him that I will register Charlie to the same class end of next year when she knows her 1 2 3. Bingo ! he buys that idea.(not that I not going to. Just that he wanted so much to do things with Charlie).

legend of the Sea 4 - 7 dec

Brought yy along with me on Legend of the Sea (Royal Caribbean) to Penang and Port Klang, organized by my company. There are a couple of programmes lined up throughout the whole day like rock climbing, salsa and line dance, bingo, theater and movie time and wii games. There are also some activity rooms such as casino, kid adventure world for younger children and teenagers, library and play rooms.
This is our first time on a cruise. I was expecting a bigger ship. In short, the cruise experience is similar to staying in a hotel room.

Me and my colleagues before boarding the cruise.yy enjoys the soccer game very much.the golf area is very small. More for kids to jump about.

Only 2 adult swimming pool and very small. no kid pool at all. moreover they use sea salt water.
yy spends most of his time at the kid adventure world where they have different programmes for different age group.

His other activity is to play psp borrowed from huisiang. In the end, hui siang became his best friend there.
Only 2 restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. This cafe is one of them serving buffet style.
This is the other restaurant serving set menu which is more delicious and "worth" it.

At Penang, we went down the ship for a walk around the town.

Does it look like a hotel lobby ? One of the night is formal wear for fine dining.

Type of TV program

YY adapted a change in his selection of TV program. Instead of only watching cartoon, he gains a liking for other children programs like stranger than u, Lab rats challenge, amazing brilliant creatures and doodlechamps. He is also watching show on magic tricks. Well of course he is still watching many cartoon programs.

Are u angry ?

Charlie likes to ask “are u happy ?” “are u angry?” if u tell her u are angry then she will keep repeating “don’t be angry” until u give up and tell her u are not angry with her. That girl is so persistent then I will joke that her battery is spoilt again cos she kept repeating the same statement again and again.


As for yy, his fav statement will be "mummy, I good boy right ?". Actually he is really very well behaved.
