Aunty Birthday (21 sept 08)

We celebrated aunty's birthday today. Mummy bought her a birthday cake and a hair pin while guo guo drew her a card with pokemons (only 3 lah). Guo guo chose a cake with pokemon on it. Next year I want to choose the cake I like. We waited for aunty to come out from her bath then guo guo shouted "Happy Birthday Aunty Beth ! " I am so happy during the singing of the birthday day song cos I have supper today.

This is my version of a birthday cake for my aunty....

ps : I wonder what has mummy plan for my birthday in nov..... :p

Taekwondo on every Sat 8pm to 9.30pm (20 sept 08)

Guo guo went for the trial Taekwondo lesson on 20 Sept. The class is conducted at the basket ball court next to our block. There is a total of 20 + students. Most of them are in your primary or early secondary. I think guo guo is one of the youngest in the class. Mummy wanted guo guo to go and attend something physical, not class bound enrichment class. Furthermore the class is conducted in a very slow and relaxing pace, not physically taxing at all. Mummy even managed to get Da Jum (guo guo's PCF classmate) to join so they can find some fun. Or rather too much fun. The 2 of them got scolded by the instructor in their first lesson as they are playing scissor paper stone by themselves when the seniors are taking turn doing the moves.

My thumb is plaster 24 hrs a day (21 sept 08)

Mummy plastered my thumb to prevent me from sucking it. The plaster sure tastes awful. It really deters me from sucking during my nap time. It was such a wonderful experience and I miss doing it before and during nap. Plus I could sleep much better sucking my thumb. Now I get more cranky easily and I woke up several times during the night. I will keep whinning till mummy wake up to pat me back to sleep. Mummy will keep telling me this is for my own good as she suspects that all these sucking makes my front teeth and gum protruding outwards.

Tooth extraction at home ! Heeeeellllppppp !

Mummy realised that guo guo's second tooth (front tooth on the bottom row) is already out. As the baby tooth is still there, the new tooth has been pushed backward. Now guo guo has 2 teeth one infront and the other right behind. So mummy suggested to guo guo that if they are able to get the tooth out at home during this weekend, guo guo be "rewarded" a toy from popular. If not, mummy will bring guo guo to the dentist next week to have it extracted.

Mummy even worked out a plan for guo guo ie to keep shaking his tooth and at the same time sing the Debbie Gibson's song (for entertainment sake). The song goes like this ....... shake your tooth , shake shake shake your tooth...... After 2 days of shaking (friday and sat), the tooth is much loosen but still intact. The rest of the details was too much to write with words...... in short, mummy and aunty beth "joined forces" and the tooth is out using the sewing thread method. And of course guo guo cried an cried non stop until mummy offered him to play the DS lite.

All this while, papa refused to do anything except to hold onto me and the camera.
Your guys are lucky, the video is too big to be uploaded

Guo guo got a pokemon book as his "rewards" .

Mid-Autumn Festival By The River 2008 (6 sept 08)

Mummy brought us to the Singapore River yesterday night to view the water lantern on display along the river. We took the mrt to Clarke Quay station. This is the first time I took the Nel train. Fortunately there is seats for all of us on our journey there.

Mid-Autumn Festival by the River 2008 is jointly organised by Singapore Press Holdings Limited and Graphic Point International Pte Ltd. There are 4 stationary Water-Set Lanterns floating on the Singapore River between Coleman Bridge and Read Bridge. I find the smaller lanterns along the waterbank more interesting especially the figurine. However there isnt any discription or expanation on them. It started to drizzle shortly after we reached but we still brave the rain with umbrella. It is worth the visit.

The 12 symbol of the birth cycle but mummy only took 10 of them. Which is the missing 2 ? anyone .....

Xiao Bai Cai from our own backyard .... more like corridor (6 Sept 08)

Aunty beth and guo guo havested the xiao bai cai from our backyard (u know .... corridor lah) . They are quite small in size. The growth is restricted by the small pot. But they look very green and fresh.

After cooking, they shrinked till so small portion only. Taste wise, dont think there is any difference cos mummy did not mention at all.
